As an organization Sigma Kappa encourages our members to be involved in their campus and community. Because of this focus on involvement outside of Sigma Kappa, our sisters are able to engage with the campus and community in ways that are important to them by hosting and participating in a number of different events.
Every semester, our Sigma Kappa sisters are given many opportunities to strengthen our relationship with the chapter and each other. Date Party is a theme night where all of our sisters dress up and enjoy a great night together. Formal is a chance for all of us to put a cute dress on, grab a pair of heels, do our hair and makeup for a night of dinner and dancing! Answers for Alzheimers is a philanthropy event we hold each spring. Our sisters create teams with other friends for some friendly competition and raise money for a great cause. Special Lady Tea is a unique event because we get to share a tea party with not only our sisters, but all of the special ladies in our lives! Moms, sisters, aunts, grandmas, cousins, and other friends are all welcome to enjoy this fun event. More of our favorite sisterhood events include work out and yoga classes together all over Milwaukee and ice cream parties at the house before midterms.
All of these events show us just how much Sigma Kappa means to us. This chapter has given us memories that will last a lifetime!
